First plein air of the year

I recently bought a pair of Muck Boots, following the advice of René Pleinair.
These boots should be able to keep your feet warm up to -20C. Not that I plan to go out painting in those temperatures but at least when it is -5 your feet will stay warm. And indeed they do work. They are not cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.

"Walking the dog", oil on panel, 30x24cm, available

Isn't that the spot where we painted together a few years back?

Still an awesome place, I love the litle figure with dog, it gives the whole painting such more live.

Hope you enjoy your boots, with cold feet you are home befor you know.

Thank you very much Mayra!

Hi René, this very close to my home, about a 5 minute bike ride.
The figure with the dog was the only person I saw there that morning, so I'm glad I decided to put him in.
The boots are great, thanks again for the tip.

Hoi Erik:) Ik weet niet of het aan de laarzen gelegen heeft, maar wat een prachtig schilderij. Dikke complimenten hoor!
