Are you hungry?

Recently I've become more and more interested in still life painting. I'm reading books about still life painting and food photography and here is the first result. The nice thing is that you can eat the tart when you're ready with the painting. I hope you'll like the painting as much as I liked eating the tart..

Hoi Erik:) Het ziet er heerlijk uit! Mooie frisse kleuren en dat tafelkleed er onder staat mooi strak. Mooi geschilderd. Succes met je stillevens:)

This is really fabulous, masterly painted, and the tart is really inviting, You even succeeded in creating the shine of the gel !! Still life is one of my favorite subjects , too .

Thank you Jane! It was a challenge to paint all those shiny pieces but it worked out in the end.

I saw this over at the DPW facebook page so I came right over to your blog to see more! Love the table cloth pattern and perspective.
Happy Painting.

Wonderful job, Eric. I've been thinking about doing more still life. Great idea doing a delicious tart, that way you get to eat it.

Thank you Lokelani!
